1. Agreement to Terms
By creating an account, accessing, or using Randy BC AI (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.
The Service is operated by My Roof Group Ltd. ("we," "us," "our," or the "Company"), a company registered in British Columbia, Canada.
You must accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy before creating an account.
2. Important Disclaimer — Not Legal Advice

The Service provides general information about the British Columbia Residential Tenancy Act and related regulations. This information is for educational and informational purposes only and is not a substitute for professional legal advice.

3. Nature of the Service
Randy BC AI is an artificial intelligence assistant that:
- Answers questions about BC tenancy law based on publicly available legal information
- Helps pre-fill Residential Tenancy Branch (RTB) forms based on information you provide
- Provides general guidance on tenancy processes and procedures
- Facilitates booking consultations with human professionals
- Manages and tracks your tenancy cases for your convenience
The Service uses artificial intelligence technology, which may occasionally produce responses that are inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated. AI-generated content should always be verified independently.
4. Eligibility
To use the Service, you must:
- Be at least 19 years of age (the age of majority in British Columbia)
- Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement
- Provide accurate and complete registration information
- Not use the Service for any unlawful purpose
Guest Access: You may use the Service as a guest without creating an account, subject to a limit of 5 messages per session. Guest users are subject to these Terms.
5. Account Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- All activities that occur under your account
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
- Ensuring the accuracy of information you provide
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
6. Subscription Plans and Payment
6.1 Service Tiers: The Service may offer free and paid subscription tiers. Details of available plans, features, and pricing are displayed on the Service.
6.2 Billing and Renewal:
- Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly basis
- Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled
- You may cancel your subscription at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
- We will provide notice of any price changes at least 30 days before the change takes effect
6.3 Refunds: Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact us at support@myroofgroup.com for refund requests.
6.4 BC Consumer Protection: In accordance with the British Columbia Business Practices and Consumer Protection Act:
- You may cancel a subscription contract at any time as permitted by applicable law
- We will provide clear disclosure of all pricing, renewal terms, and cancellation rights before purchase
- For subscription contracts with renewal terms of less than 60 days, you may cancel at any time without charge or penalty
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service to harass, abuse, or threaten others
- Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems
- Use the Service to engage in unauthorized practice of law
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
- Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the Service without our express permission
- Violate any applicable law or regulation in connection with your use of the Service
- Upload files containing malware, viruses, or other harmful code
- Share your account credentials with third parties
8. RTB Forms
The Service may assist you in pre-filling RTB forms based on information you provide. You acknowledge and agree that:
- You are solely responsible for reviewing all form content before submission
- The Service pre-fills forms based on information you provide; we do not verify the accuracy of that information
- Forms are provided to you only — we do not send forms to other parties (landlords, tenants, or the RTB) on your behalf
- Electronically signed forms carry the same legal weight as manually signed forms
- Some RTB forms must be filed through the RTB online portal and cannot be pre-filled by the Service
9. Intellectual Property
- The Service, including its design, code, AI models, and documentation, is the property of My Roof Group Ltd. and is protected by intellectual property laws
- Information provided by the Service about BC tenancy law is derived from publicly available sources
- You retain ownership of all content and data you submit to the Service
- By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process your data solely for the purpose of providing the Service
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW:
- The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement
- We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components
- We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any information provided by the Service
- In no event shall My Roof Group Ltd., its officers, directors, employees, or agents be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or related to your use of the Service
- Our total aggregate liability to you for all claims arising out of or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim
- We are not liable for any legal outcomes, disputes, or losses resulting from decisions made based on information provided by the Service
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless My Roof Group Ltd., its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to:
- Your use of the Service
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any third-party rights
- Any content or information you submit to the Service
12. Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Service, you consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of your personal information as described in the Privacy Policy.
13. Dispute Resolution
13.1 Governing Law: These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles.
13.2 Jurisdiction: Any disputes arising out of or related to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in the courts of British Columbia, and you consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of such courts.
13.3 Informal Resolution: Before initiating any formal legal proceedings, you agree to first contact us at support@myroofgroup.com to attempt to resolve the dispute informally. We will make reasonable efforts to resolve complaints within 30 days.
14. Modifications to the Service
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part thereof) at any time, with or without notice. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on the Service and updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the Service and may request deletion of your account.
16. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
17. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and My Roof Group Ltd. regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
